The women of the Delta Tau chapter of Alpha Gamma Delta are delighted to bring you the Alpha Gam Movie Awards (AGMAs), a film-festival competition between Chapman University’s sororities, fraternities and clubs. The Alpha Gam Movie Awards benefit the Alpha Gamma Delta Foundation, which fights hunger on local and global levels.
We're excited to welcome friends, family, Greek life, and the Chapman and local communities to this fun event that raises money for a great cause!
The international philanthropy of Alpha Gamma Delta is to fight hunger. Our chapter supports this cause through donating proceeds from events like the AGMAs to the Alpha Gamma Delta Foundation. The Foundation's mission is to benefit our communities by providing essential support for education, service, and leadership through supporting Meals on Wheels and Feeding America.
On the local level, the Delta Tau chapter of Alpha Gamma Delta supports organizations like Grandma's House of Hope, OC Food Bank, Chapman Food Pantry, and Second Harvest Food Bank. These organizations play a critical role in the fight for full plates, full minds, and full hearts. We are more than grateful and thrilled to give back to these amazing foundations in so many different ways, whether it be fundraising, volunteering at local awareness events, or donating food to students in need.
In addition to the AGMAs, for one week per year, Alpha Gam's across the country pledge to give back to their community by participating in the Alpha Gam Week of Service. This annual event encourages Alpha Gam's to get more involved with local alumna or chapters in organized service projects such as beach clean ups, writing letters to recipients of Meals on Wheels, or hosting canned food drives. No matter where they are, sisters can take part and make plans to donate their time or resources to help those in need in their community.
